The MIA study examined the experiences, pitfalls, and success of DBE Joint Ventures in Retail and Duty Free at MIA. Advantages and disadvantages highlighted made the findings helpful for structuring future DBE Joint Ventures. CM&A has also conducted passenger satisfaction surveys at MIA relative to Concessions, pricing and quality/variety of service at the airport. CM&A was a consultant for the Orange Bowl Committee at a critical time during the Miami boycott. As a result of CM&A’s consultation, the OBC attracted local minority business to become sponsors/vendors and developed a fund-raiser in support of the United Negro College Fund.
