As the minority sub-consultant for Center For Airport Management (CAM), CMA developed a study about DBE Joint Ventures at Miami International Airport (MIA) and works with the development and implementation of DBE Programs.  The MIA study examined the experiences, pitfalls, and success of DBE Joint Ventures in Retail and Duty Free at MIA.  Advantages and disadvantages highlighted made the findings helpful for structuring future DBE Joint Ventures. CM&A has also conducted passenger satisfaction surveys at MIA relative to Concessions, pricing and quality/variety of service at the airport.  CM&A was a consultant for the Orange Bowl Committee at a critical time during the Miami boycott.  As a result of CM&A’s consultation, the OBC attracted local minority business to become sponsors/vendors and developed a fund-raiser in support of the United Negro College Fund.

Carmen Morris the firm’s president and founder, has more than 20 years experience in the communications industry.  Her experience includes marketing and public relations, facilitating DBE Programs, management, human resources, and production for corporations like Post-Newsweek, Storer Communications, and Time, Inc.  As a journalist, she produced and reported the News on Radio/TV in top media markets.
